With the
start@unito project, the University of Turin offers a number of open and free online courses you
can follow while you are still in high school, before enrolling at the university or while attending it. The project has been carried out by the Departments of the University of Turin with the contribution of Compagnia di San Paolo.
The university offers a broad spectrum of academic fields: the courses range from Physics to Sociology, from Information Technology to Cultural Anthropology, from Law to Foreign Languages, from Mathematics to Zoology. These courses are all designed to help those who approach university studies for the first time and to promote autonomous learning. In addition, many courses are held entirely in English to enhance internationalization.
Signing up is quick and easy: you just have to visit the
Courses Showroom and choose the ones you like. Log in with a click by using your social network credentials and start your new courses right now.
You’ll find a variety of multimedia to explore at your own pace, then you’ll be able to practice with self-assessment tests. Once you complete all the units and take the final test, you will earn a certificate of attendance of your first university course, which will enable you to take the exam as soon as you enrol.
Start@unito accompanies you before and during your studies. If you haven’t enrolled yet, you can start off on the right foot: not only does start@unito help you choose the right courses for you, but it also allows you to take an exam in advance! If you already are a university student, you can add the courses to your career plan and study independently.
You will find the list of the available courses in the
Courses Showroom.
